Valentine’s Day is usually associated with flowers, chocolates, and romantic dinners, but some of the most meaningful Valentine’s memories have nothing to do with candlelight or candy hearts. At Kimbrough Law, we believe that love shows up in many forms: in families, friendships, caregiving, and even unexpected moments that stay with us for a lifetime.

This Valentine’s Day, we asked our team to share their most memorable Valentine’s experiences, stories that made them laugh, cry, or see love in a whole new way. Here's what they said.

Elise Wilson, Firm Administrator

One of my favorite Valentine’s Days was a few years ago when I got together with my 2 best friends for a GALENTINE’S! We always have a great time together and laugh until our faces hurt!! I am so blessed to not only have a wonderful family, but also great friends!!

Robin Lacrimosa, Life Care Coordinator

When I worked at the Adult Day Center, Valentine’s day was one of the best days! We indulged in sugary treats, the women dressed up in all things pink and red, we had entertainment keeping us dancing all day, and best of all ,the balloon man! Family members would join us. It was like a big family party with everyone you cared about and all the snacks you could want! 😊

Brandy Gilbert, Client Service Administrator

We spent every holiday with my mother-in-law. She has been gone for two years now. Before she got sick, my husband and I always took her out for Valentine's Day, but as her condition worsened, it was harder for her to get out. On Valentine's Day a few years ago, we asked her to come out to dinner with us like always. She pushed back. "I don't want to ruin your Valentine's Day," she argued. We insisted that she come with us, and she finally relented. We took her to Longhorn Steakhouse and had the best time! I will never forget this day.❤️
